Can I run my car through an automatic car wash with this bracket?

Our bracket is very securely attached to the bumper, using a combination of double-sided tape and a thread-forming screw. Car washes have not been a problem.

Is the bracket easy to remove if I put my car in a car show?

The vertical section of the bracket, with the license plate attached, can be removed in seconds by removing 2 screws. The two horizontal sections that remain under the bumper are almost invisible.

If I order a bracket and it turns out to be the wrong size, how do I exchange it?

If your bracket is not the right size, measure your bumper as shown in the sketch at the bottom of the "Bracket Size" page in the menu on the left, and let us know the correct size by sending an email to bracket-support@skenedesign.com . We will send you a replacement bracket of this size, along with a prepaid mailing label so you can return the original bracket.

My car is not listed in the table on the "Bracket Size" page. How do I know what size to order?

If your car is not listed in the table, measure the depth of your car's bumper as shown in the sketch on this page to determine the correct bracket size. The measurement required is the available length of the under-side of the bumper, measured from the front of the vertical face of the bumper to the grill. If your bumper is curved you may need to use a slightly longer bracket to ensure that there is sufficient clearance at the center part of the license plate.

Can I use a license plate frame with this bracket?

Yes, you can mount a frame over the license plate. If the frame is more that 1/8" thick you will need to use longer license plate mounting screws. The ones we provide are 10-32 x 3/8" stainless steel button head socket screws. Any corrosion resistant 10-32 screw will work, as long as it does not protrude from the back of the bracket.

How do I return a bracket?

You can return a bracket for a refund by sending an email to bracket-returns@skenedesign.com requesting a return within 30 days of receipt of the bracket.
We will send you a return authorization number and mailing address and will issue your refund when we receive the bracket.
